What is Microblading

  • Microblading, also known as eyebrow embroidery and  eyebrow feathering technique, is a form of semi-permanent make up, which is implemented using a handheld tool compromised of between 6-14 micro needles in the shape of a blade, hence the name Microblade.

  • A handheld tool is used to insert pigment into the upperlayers / epidermis of the skin - as apposed to a machine.

  • Because colour is impacted closer to surface, the hairstrokes appear crisp and very fine. There is no spilling under the skin and the effects last up to 18 months after which the pigment fades leaving the skin. This method is ideal for anyone wanting to enhance the look of her or his eyebrows. The results are natural looking, hair-like strokes, regardles of the amount of hair present.

  • People suffering from alopecia or any other condition that cause hair loss will benefit greatly from microblading, as well as those who simply are not happy with their eyebrows. The pigments used in this method have been formulated to match your original eyebrow colour and if eyebrows are not present, blend perfectly into them. The results are realistic, flawless and fuller looking brows.

  • Microblading is a gentler alternative to the permanent brow tatoo due to the fact that it does not penetrate to the dermis. With microblading technique, a more natural look is achieved as it simulate hair strokes and dimension rather than full shaded blocked effect.

  • A touch up appointment will be required at a minimum of 4-6 weeks later to address any inconsistant healing. Following this, a touch up is required once a year.
